Reviews and Ratings
Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find our room in a bad state - stinking damp with a soaking chair, missing drawer, and a basin splashed all over. The beds were small too. The staff quickly offered an upgrade due to the issues. The garden wing was a nicer experience for us, and the breakfast, despite the rain, was enjoyable.
I was impressed by the hotel's beautiful executive rooms, although they could use a small table in between the armchairs. Unfortunately, the separate room we stayed in was not as good as the main house, with less helpful staff and a not-so-great breakfast.
The hotel is conveniently located for visiting the Kelpie statues, offering an excellent starting point for early morning adventures. The rooms are maintained to a high standard, but some may find the proximity to the motorway noisy.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, tidy, and nicely presented, offering a good size with a comfortable bed. I particularly enjoyed the large TV and the nice ensuite with a powerful shower over the bath. The view out back was fantastic, with a table and comfy chairs where I could sit by the window, enjoying my coffee while watching the rabbits run around below. It was great for what we needed, allowing me to relax in my jeans and sweater in bed.
I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel despite initial apprehensions from its exterior appearance. The room was spacious with a fantastic bed and bathroom, offering a lovely view out back with rabbit sightings. However, some maintenance issues like non-locking windows were noticed on the ground floor.
